Beautiful coffee shop in town. I never know about this. Never knew this been in town. The best coffee shop so far I got one of those refreshers the guy there named Sal. He was really helpful. He explained to me that the refresher doesn’t have caffeine in them and I got one of those chocolate croissants and they put some chocolate and pistachio sauce on it. It’s really good place is really clean smell good the music atmosphere. I really really recommend this place.

Today we stopped by Sweet Beans Coffee in Peoria to see what all the buzz was about! The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how cute the shop is. It's warm, inviting, and has a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. Right inside the front door is the cutest oval-shaped bench decorated with flowers. It's the perfect little spot for photos, and I couldn't resist snapping a few! Then my eyes wandered to the display cases... and wow! They were packed with all kinds of desserts and sweet treats. They even had those adorable fruit-shaped pastries, they are actually called trompe-l’œil fruit desserts that have been becoming quite popular! There were plenty of other pastries and desserts to choose from, and the portions looked surprisingly generous. One thing that really caught my attention was their selection of Tres Leches cakes. They had nine different flavors available while we were there! I asked about them, and the employee told us the owner actually drives to Chicago to pick them up. Sweet beans, strange vibes. On a nice and rainy day, Maria and I dropped into Sweet Beans to check out a new coffeehouse because whats better than a nice cup of coffee on a dreary day? Not much, in my opinion. We walked into a brightly lit coffeehouse and went to look at the baked goods first and foremost. We had a few questions regarding some of the pastries in the display case and the lady working the counter couldn’t really answer our question without a blank look on her face. It felt like pulling teeth to get an answer from her. Was it the ‘Gen Z’ stare I’ve heard about but never experience before? I was a bit worried about placing my coffee order with her. I always order ‘large iced americano, black’ and she asked me every detail of the drink. Maria had the same experience with the barista and we were both extremely worried about our drinks coming out wrong. I signed up for the rewards program and when I went to pay, I usually like to have the receipt texted to me so I can refer back to it for this review. Before I even got the chance to do that, the lady skipped the screen. I could’ve said something but all that frustration was mounting and I didn’t want to be rude or reall

I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything was BEAUTIFUL — the atmosphere and all the drinks & goodies. I enjoyed every single bite and sip.
